Women wanting to sing karaoke in Connecticut beware. You might end up being attacked by a pack of crazed female karaoke-haters.
A seemingly harmless karaoke night at Bobby Valentine's Sports Gallery Café, a Connecticut sports bar, turned nasty when six women grouped together and attacked a female performer. According to reports, “the six women, all under the legal drinking age of 21, knocked the singer to the floor, punched her, and pulled her hair. The victim [Leidy Alcantara] suffered bruises and a chipped tooth.”
It is unknown why the women attacked. Perhaps they were offended by her singing ability or song choice. At the time of the attack 25-year-old Ms. Alcantara was belting out "A Dios Le Pido" by Colombian superstar Juanes.
The girls have been charged with third-degree assault, conspiracy to commit third-degree assault, and breach of peace. Yikes. The girls will face court again later this month.
Something tells me these girls will enjoy some jail time.
