The ultra reclusive Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose has finally broken his silence by answering fan questions on the message boards of two of the most popular Guns fan sites on the Web. Axl hits on a slew of subjects including the complexity of what it would take for a GNR reunion. An odd high note may have been when Axl gave his praise to Billboard competitor Kanye West. Automaker Bailout Dies in the Senate, Bad Gets Worse
Late Thursday evening, the U.S. automaker bailout bill failed to pass through the Senate. The legislation is dead and there are no plans for another bill to go through the process until the end of the year. To quote Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, this will be "a very, very bad Christmas" for many Americans. Good news is that the pork put on the bill, namely a cost of living adjustment (i.e. pay raise) for federal district judges was shot down the in process. They currently make $169,300 a year, which some fear is too little for such important people. [The Daily Star]
