Red Dead Redemption is a game built upon the strength of its story, the lush western setting, a unique sense of gritty style and top-notch voice acting. So it's not surprising that, using the game's graphics and audio engine, Hollywood director John Hillcoat was able to create a short film that truly captures the essence of this gunslinging masterpiece.

All told this film clocks in at just under half an hour, so if you're looking to get the gist of the Red Dead Redemption story in quick order, this might just do the trick.
