Snake Dies After Biting Breast

A snake has met an untimely death after biting the breast of a television presenter.

Israeli model and actress Orit Fox was in the middle of a segment for Spanish television when the slithery snake lunged at her bust (who wouldn’t?) and took a bite out of her silicone-filled bosom. Fox screamed and the camera crew rushed to her aid. She was taken to the hospital where she was administered a tetanus shot and placed under observation. The snake was not so lucky. Days after the incident the creature died of silicone poisoning. [My Fox DC]

Reality television star Richard Hatch is heading back to jail for again failing to pay his taxes. Hatch has already spent three years in jail for not paying the taxes on the $1 million prize we won on the first season of Survivor. He was released from jail in 2009 and was supposed to refile and pay his 2000 and 2001 taxes, but never did. Hatch told reporters outside court that he was innocent. He said, "I hope I'm released soon. But this system is not effective in dealing with the truth. As always, I'll comply with whatever I'm asked to do and continue my pursuit of exoneration." Someone should’ve told him it pays to pay your taxes. Hatch is currently on television competing in season four of Celebrity Apprentice. [New York Daily News]

WNBA Player Apologies for Bringing up God’s Agenda

Cappie Pondexter, a lady basketball star in the upstart WNBA ranks, recently tweeted “What if God was tired of the way they treated their own people in there own country! Idk guys he makes no mistakes” following the tsunamis. She then tweeted "u just never knw! They did pearl harbor so u can't expect anything less.” Later, she apologized. It’s unclear if it was for her insensitivity or lack of historic accuracy, but she apologized nonetheless. [ESPN]

Shady Coach Apologizes for Alleged Shadiness

Ohio State bench boss and lord of the sweatervest world Jim Tressel (kind of) offered some sorrow for not being the most honest chap on the block. According to Yahoo! Sports “Standing before an audience of loyal supporters, Tressel apologized several times Monday during his first public speaking engagement since being suspended for two games and fined $250,000 for violating NCAA rules—a punishment that could become more severe.” He didn’t promise he wouldn’t do it again, but he’s still pretty sorry he got caught this time.
