The Chevy Volt will be GM's first attempt at a plug-in hybrid when it hits showrooms in 2010. What's the difference between a plug-in and say, a Prius? Cash money.

Plug-in allows for much better fuel economy. How does 150mpg sound? That's GM's stated target, anyway. One thing's for sure, the car is a make-or-break move for the company. ABC News got an exclusive sneak preview of the early production mock-ups of the Volt, which takes on a more sedate look in favor of 30 percent less drag. Hit the jump to see Chevy's great hope in action.
