Lindsay Lohan Would Rather Die Than do Jail Time | SPIKE

According to some sources, Lindsay Lohan would rather end her life than spend time in the slammer. The troubled actress is reportedly on suicide watch after being sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Lindsay Lohan is running out of days as a free woman.  The headline-grabbing actress has to turn herself in on Tuesday to begin serving time after being sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab. The jail time stems for a DUI conviction in 2007 and Lohan’s failure to properly complete probation. Lohan is hoping for a reduced sentence and has until Tuesday to lodge an appeal.

Lohan is desperate to avoid jail time and, according to sources, will do anything to stay out of jail. That might mean taking her own life:

(According to a source) She just kept repeating, "I can’t go to jail," and, "I’ll kill myself first." She’s mentally unstable and getting worse. She ran around breaking mirrors, cutting herself, and rambling like a lunatic. She tore her house apart before she finally just broke down. Lindsay’s on a 24/7 suicide watch, it’s so bad. She isn’t doing well with this.

Lindsay is unlikely to serve the entire 90-day sentence. Due to the overpopulation of California's jails Lohan is likely to serve only 25 percent of her actual sentence and will be segregated from the general prison population. All things considered, she should be pretty stoked.

Her time inside will be lucrative and there is definitely a silver lining to the actress’ troubles. Lohan will reportedly earn up to $500,000 for her pre-jail interview and a cool $1 million for her post-jail interview. Plus, she’ll reportedly publish a jail diary. Not a bad way to earn some scratch...and we all know Lindsay needs the money.
