Tuesday is almost here, and you know what that means--it's time to start thinking about the latest hot releases. Luckily for you, we set loose all the crap you hate and present a gang of the dopest goods just to make your freakin' day.
Folks, we have a veritable smorgasbord of quality games hitting shelves on Tuesday. Truly, the holiday game season is at hand! You know, that time where so many great games come out that you can’t afford them all and you eventually forget about some of them? Try not to forget about these. The next/latest in the Guitar Hero line is loading up the touring van and ready to play its first gig. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii) is trying to take the series back to its roots with more metal and rock, and less of what the average person actually wants. The single-player has you playing as a stereotypical video game character as he attempts to save rock and roll. We’ll have to wait until it comes out to see if you can play as an RIAA agent. If you like killing zombies (and who doesn’t), Dead Rising 2 (Xbox 360, PS3) will let you chop until you drop and just in time for Halloween. With a story completely separate from the first game, there’s no assembly required and you can make your own weapons out of things you find. How does a kayak paddle with chainsaws on both ends sound? Should be bloody good. Here in America, football is a sport where men run into each other at high speeds and try to harm one another. Everywhere else it’s a sport where grown men act like babies. The latter version is about to hit stores with FIFA 11 (Xbox 360, PS3). Last year’s game was probably the best soccer sim ever released, so bicycle kick your butt to the store and pick it up.

For those of you that don’t get out much, Iron Man 2 is the extremely solid superhero flick featuring Marvel’s classic character Iron Man. Directed by Jon Favreau, IM2 shows Robert Downey Jr. reprising his now-legendary role as Tony Stark and acting alongside a string of A-list Hollywood stars. In it, mad weapons inventor Tony Stark must contend with government drama, his own friends, and his new enemy Backlash played by the one and only Mickey Rourke. The Blu-ray and DVD both provide fans with a slew of extras and in-depth features. Do yourself a favor and scoop this.
