Stretchers are More Complicated in Brazil

bydavidbreitman   January 24, 2011 at 3:35PM  |  Views:  |  Comment

After suffering what appears to be a leg injury, some random soccer player nobody around the Spike.com offices has ever heard of requested medical attention from the sidelines. Naturally, the paramedic (who appears to actually be an opposing player) tosses a stretcher on the ground and proceeds to sit on the fallen athlete's face for a few minutes. It’s a real interesting look at the healthcare practices of other countries.

(Note: It's entirely possible this takes place somewhere other than Brazil. My Portuguese is a tad rusty.)
