Jude Law and Robert DeNiro to Star in Thor?!
Could the rumor swirling around that Jude Law and Robert De Niro are going to star in the new Thor movie actually be true? And if so, who the heck would they play? The cast for this movie is getting very strange, and very impressive.
Ain't It Cool News reports that:
According to actor, Matthias Schweighöfer, who you may have seen in VALKYRIE or RED BARON - in an article in the German edition of Gentlemen's Quarterly aka GQ, he states that he's in the running for a role in Branagh's THOR, but he also mentions that Jude Law and Robert DeNiro have joined the cast.
At this point no one has any idea who Law and DeNiro would play in the film, only that it's looking likely they're going to appear in it.
For people more familiar with this comic, who do you think Law and DeNiro would be good as? Are they going to be enough to get audiences interested in watching this movie?
However this all comes together, it's nice to see that Kenneth Branagh is serious about putting together a cast of real actors. This movie might just have some acting muscle behind it after all.
