Bob Dylan and Sir Paul McCartney are reportedly set to collaborate sometime this summer for a very long-awaited recording session.
Last year, Paul announced that working with Dylan was one of his major ambitions in life. Bobby also agreed he would be down to do a duet with McCartney in an interview earlier this month.
According to The Daily Express, the two legends are now set to make history by heading into the studio together for the first time ever.
A source stated: "Paul has a home in California not too far from Bob's so the idea is for the two to meet when Paul is in California over the summer. They'll obviously want to work in privacy and it's felt one of their homes will be the best bet.”
The source went on to say that, “getting these two together for any length of time is difficult schedule-wise but they both want this to work out. The music that comes out of this will be fascinating to hear."
The tunes probably won’t be anything groundbreaking, but you never can tell with these two…
