New Video of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly in Back to the Future
As most of you may already know by now, Eric Stoltz was actually originally cast as Marty McFly in Back to the Future before Michael J. Fox. In the new Blu-ray version of the film that’s being released later this month, there are actual video outtakes of Stoltz playing the role of Marty McFly.
In this look at the never-before-seen footage from the legendary 1985 film, director Robert Zemeckis breaks down why he replaced Stoltz in the middle of shooting while unseen clips show Eric playing the role that would eventually make Michael J. Fox an international superstar. Epic stuff for sure. I kinda have a geek boner right now. Enjoy!
