Alyssa Milano Will Be in Ghostbusters Video Game

March 23, 2009

Sigourney Weaver didn't want anything to do with the upcoming Ghostbusters video game, but that's okay because Alyssa Milano took her place. If this sounds strange to you then you're not the only one.

Weaver isn't the only one who won't be appearing in the game. Rick Moranis, due to his bizarre "retirement," also won't have his voice featured.

As for Milano, don't fret about her taking Weaver's place, as she plays an entirely different character, that of Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn. Her character looks pretty dang sexy, too.

Will Weaver bail on the third movie? Let's hope not. The story would feel somehow incomplete without her. That said, if someone has to go, better her than any of the Ghostbusters. If we don't have all four guys crossing the streams then it's just not the real Ghostbusters.
