Training to be a professional racer is much more than getting behind the wheel and pushing pedals.

To prepare the contestants, Nissan GT Academy uses the mobile Nismo Lab to help them improve their in-car performance as well as their physical fitness. The Nismo Lab can monitor the brain waves of the drivers to help with concentration. It also uses a Batack machine to improve the athletes' field of vision. But the most important tool at their disposal is the racing simulator. The Nismo athletes can pick any track in the world and without having to travel, drive all they want.

Check out the videos below to see it all in action, and see the final segment with Season 2 winner Steve Doherty.
