It’s a big week at your local game shop, so hopefully you’ve been saving your cash. The one game that most of our Spike brethren will relate to is Brink for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Yeah, it’s another first-person shooter, but hey, half the games released these days are. This one’s a little different, though. The single-player campaign isn’t much to speak about, but the online multiplayer really sparkles by requiring coordinated teamwork. We’re not talking about one guy going left and another guy going right to flank. These are very intricately detailed missions that require multiple roles from the player. At the very least it’s a new spin on an old idea and worth a look. Another big game this Tuesday (and on the complete opposite side of the spectrum) is the loveable LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean for just about every machine under the sun. We’re not huge fans of these games because they’re honestly pretty average, but they do have a certain charm about them and fans of the movie franchise will get a kick out of watching a virtual Johnny Depp crumble into a pile of plastic bricks. Also on the radar for this week is Virtua Tennis 4 if you’re more of the sporting type. Go forth and game!

Look, we all know that No Strings Attached didn’t reinvent the wheel in terms of the romcom, but it does give guys the rare pleasure of satisfying their lady friend while also getting to see Natalie Portman in little-to-no clothes throughout most of the film. In it, a guy (Ashton Kutcher) and girl (Natalie Portman) try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before things get a little out of hand. The new Blu-ray and DVD include deleted scenes, interviews with the cast and crew, and the featurettes Sex Friends: Getting Together, Inside the Sassy Halls of Secret High, Modern Love: The Dos and Don'ts. Go get it, dudes.

This is pretty much the biggest no-brainer Top Shelf has ever featured, guys. Goblin is the second official studio album by OFWGKTA leader Tyler the Creator. Gaining a huge fan base as well as critical acclaim strictly from Internet exposure, Tyler is now on XL ready to take on the world. With instant classics like “Yonkers” and “Tron Cat,” Goblin should easily be one of the best releases of the year. Even though this LP leaked last week, supporting a true hip-hop artist as promising as Tyler should be a big priority for real fans of the genre.
