A new tell-all book about Jon Bon Jovi has revealed a hidden side to the relatively clean-cut rocker and his band. In true rock star fashion he and his band liked to party with topless groupies and take photos.

A new book that penetrates the “impenetrable 'circle' of secrecy” that surrounded Bon Jovi sheds some interesting light on the man and the band which shared is name. The book, titled Sex, Drugs and Bon Jovi, was written by former tour manager Richard Bozzett and charts their early career and their rise to superstardom.

According to its website, the book “reveals the astonishing connection between Bon Jovi and the two largest pot and cocaine trafficking operations of their time, how an ill-conceived publicity stunt turned into a career-threatening sex scandal, but ended up with the photographer dead and the pictures missing, PLUS, the shocking reasons for the band’s unofficial break-up at the height of their career and reformation 2 years later.”

The book also contains “hundreds of never-before-seen pictures” including photos of Jon and the band partying with topless women. Ahh, it’s so tough being a rockstar.
