The Extra Man is a new comedy based on a novel by Jonathan Ames and stars Kevin Kline, Paul Dano, Katie Holmes and John C. Reilly. The wacky film tells the tale of a failed playwright (Kline) who develops an odd mentor relationship with a troubled and aspiring playwright played by Dano. Henry teaches Louis the art of being an 'Extra Man'; accompanying and entertaining wealthy older women in their classy social lives.
