I’ve been in Oklahoma City for three hours and I’ve already had two steaks, a chicken fried steak, and a steak-flavored milkshake. It’s not hard to see why Nate Diaz had some trouble making weight.
On the first try Diaz stepped on the scale at 156.5, a half-pound over the lightweight limit. But he disappeared for a while, presumably to consult his South Beach Diet handbook and came back a svelte 156. Phew.
Fight Night 19 airs live and free on Spike TV September 16th at 8p/c, but head back to Spike.com tomorrow at around 5 pm ET for the our official live blog of the event.
