Cell Phone with Built-In Intelligent Car Key

September 30, 2008

Nissan, a Japanese tech company called NTT DoCoMo and Sharp have joined forces and created the world’s first mobile phone/intellikey.  On it, you can call people, unlock/lock your car, and start your car.  What, no camera? No web access?  I thought this was 2008.  The companies will be unveiling it in Japan, but it won’t get here until the beginning of the 2009 fiscal year (which is next October).  So, until then, you can hammer out on a kooky iPhone app as a workaround.
