Lindsay Lohan is Back in Jail

bygirls   September 24, 2010 at 2:10PM  |  Views:

Lindsay Lohan returned to jail this morning after a judge refused to grant her bail for violating her probation. Find out how long she’ll be locked up after the jump.

Lindsay Lohan was ordered to appear in court today after testing positive for cocaine and having her probation revoked. The actress confirmed she’d failed the test, tweeting, “This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."

The troubled actress appeared in court for less than 10 minutes. Judge Fox denied the actress bail and ordered her to be held in custody until an October 22 hearing. That's almost a month behind bars. Lohan was handcuffed and seen crying as she was led away by a sheriff’s deputy.

This will be her third stint at Lynwood's Century Regional Detention Facility and will be her longest period of incarceration to date. Lohan recently served 13 full days of a 90-day sentence after violating probation in a string of DUI cases dating back to 2007.

Once she returns to court, Lohan is expected to be sentenced to 30 days jail for failing the mandatory drug test. She is unlikely to serve the full time and will probably be released with time served.
