FreemantleMedia Enterprises Signs Deal With Bellator

FreemantleMedia Enterprises has announced a global rights deal with Bellator Fighting Championships, and will represent the fight promotion's international distribution rights, as well as licensing, digital and ancillary rights worldwide.

"The incredible athleticism and intensity exhibited in all of our mixed martial arts tournaments translate into any language," said Bjorn Rebney, Chairman, CEO and Founder of Bellator. "With FME as our partner, we will have the ability to showcase our high-intensity brand of fighting to millions around the globe."

Bellator Fighting Chmapionships feature world-class mixed martial arts in eight-man tournaments featuring champions such as Eddie Alvarez, Ben Askren, Cole Konrad and Zoila Gurgel. The fifth season airs Saturdays on MTV2 and in HD on EPIX2. Preliminary bouts are streamed live worldwide at Spike.com.
