Jessica Alba's Strange Shark Crusade
Jessica Alba is now facing vandalism charges in Oklahoma City after photos were released showing the actress plastering shark conservation posters around the city. Pictures after the jump.
The photos appeared on The Lost Ogle, a blog devoted to all things Oklahoma City. The photos caught the eye of the Oklahoma City Police who are investigating the matter. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police told the Daily News, "A number of shark posters were placed around downtown with heavy-duty glue, making them darn near impossible to get off. It's basically a vandalism case that could involve our new tagger laws," he said. "It will be assigned to a detective, and then we'd send it to the District Attorney's office."
Alba has apologized for her involvement and released the following statement:
I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident.
Alba is currently shooting The Killer Inside Me in Oklahoma.
