Malin Akerman Was a Naughty Schoolgirl
The sexy Swedish-born actress, who has starred in Watchmen and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, has been talking to the magazine Details about her rebellious teenage years. She says she lied about her religion so she could attend the same Catholic school as her then-boyfriend. “If he was going to hang out with all those girls in skirts, I was going to get in one too," says Malin. However, the 32-year-old did not agree with the school's strict rules, saying, “You're not allowed to hold hands. I was thinking, 'Wow, we've already done worse than that.'” Akerman also appears topless in a naughty pictorial contained in the magazine, which is on newsstands now. [Details]
Mel Gibson Attempts Ridiculous Disguise to Avoid Paparazzi
Mel Gibson confronted the paparazzi on Monday after trying to avoid them with a disguise. The Lethal Weapon actor donned a blue baseball cap, nerdy black-rimmed glasses, and an oversized fake nose with a Yosemite Sam-inspired gray moustache as he left an office in Santa Monica, California. The ridiculous disguise didn’t fool the waiting paparazzi who followed Gibson as he drove off. Gibson noticed he was being tailed, pulled his car over and confronted the paparazzi sans disguise. Gibson acted coolly and calmly, taking photographs of the paparazzi as they hurled questions at him. Gibson said, "What's the matter? Got nothing better to do? What's it like sniffing other people's laundry?” Mel should’ve worked harder on a better disguise. [New York Daily News]
Kid Rock Goes to Court

Kid Rock admitted in court today that he exchanged some serious words with a Waffle House customer before a 2007 rumble broke out in the Atlanta restaurant, but insists he didn't start fighting until provoked. "I gave it to him verbally, I said, 'Shut your mouth, man,'" Rock stated in a DeKalb County court. Kid Rock and five members of his entourage are being sued over the 2007 fight. "If you look at me, Bossy, Jason, and Bear," Rock said in court, "if we wanted to hurt this man, we could have hurt him very, very bad." [TMZ]
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Hit with Three More Charges
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has been smacked with three more felony charges after a recent domestic violence spat that already had him facing a theft charge. Clark County District Attorney David Roger alleges that Mayweather hit and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, and also that Mayweather said he would harm two of their children during an altercation at Harris' home a week ago. This new criminal complaint filed today added two felony coercion and one felony robbery charges. This dude is so screwed. [FanHouse]
Microsoft Launches Internet Explorer 9 Beta
Microsoft released the latest version of its new Internet Explorer web browser, Internet Explore 9 (IE9), in beta form today. The new look IE9 is sleeker, more streamlined, and contains less clutter. Microsoft’s Dean Hachamovitch says, “We think the browser should totally take a back seat to the sites.” According to Wired, the new browser is faster, with greater support for HTML5 and the ability to “pin” favorite websites to the taskbar and access them without having to open a browser. The new browser has obviously borrowed heavily from other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome. Wired says IE9 is “fit to play in the same league as the other browsers.” The full version of IE9 will be released by year's end or early 2011 at the latest. [Wired]
