Freelock Bicycle Has You Covered

by bradiger   May 27, 2009 at 2:23PM  |  Views: 128

Last week, we brought you a bike that changes shape. This week's bike concept is the Freelock, which utilizes a built-in locking system to make sure your bike is where you left it when you come back.

It seems like bike manufacturers never really mastered the art of how to carry along a bike lock efficiently. So, if you're tired of carrying around a cumbersome lock with you every where you ride, the Freelock is a self-locking bicycle whose seat also functions as a built in lock, and looks fairly awesome to boot.

Various components of the bike can rotate around to accommodate different angles of the poles and racks the lock latches onto. Sounds pretty cool, though we have to wonder how long it'll be before you come outside and realize your bike seat, pedals, and wheels are gone, yet again. [Yanko Design]
