Samsung Galaxy Note II + Kanye West = The Best Night In New York

October 26, 2012

Samsung held an event in New York City Wednesday night as part of its Galaxy Note II World Tour to showcase their ridiculously amazing new smart device and all of its brilliant capabilities. And if that wasn't enough, Kanye West also happened to show up and epically cranked out a few of his biggest hits. These guys sure do know how to throw a party.

Out of the gate, Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Mobile USA, Todd Pendleton, came out and broke down all the mind-blowing things the Galaxy Note II can do.

Samsung introduced not one, but two amazing devices last night at the Samsung Galaxy Note II event.

Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Mobile USA, Todd Pendleton introduced the Galaxy Note II, a phone/tablet hybrid which combines the best of both worlds and builds on the success of their first iteration of the Note.

Pendleton gave way to Samsung's Chief Product Officer Kevin Packingham, who, to our surprise, introduced the Galaxy Camera, which combines a 21x optical zoom lense and Samsung camera hardware with the Android JellyBean operating system for a truly revolutionary product experience, allowing users to shoot, edit, and upload professional quality photos to social media on the go.

After the crowd was given a few hours to demo the devices and test out some of their innovative features, some hip-hop musician by the name of Kanye West hit the stage for a special performance of some of his most legendary tunes. Other companies take note. This is how it's done, y'all.

Here's the set list so you know not to miss it next time:

• New God Flow • Cold • Can't Tell Me Nothing • Mercy • Jesus Walks • Say You Will • Heartless • Run This Town • (Jay-Z cover)• Good Life • Homecoming • Through the Wire • All Falls Down • Touch the Sky • Gold Digger • All of the Lights • Stronger • Runaway • Don't Like • Clique
