Elderly Retiree to Appear on Cover of NBA 2K11

There are over 300 active athletes currently playing in the NBA. Sadly, not one of them has the raw star power of a 47-year-old recent divorcee who has taken up both weight gain and managerial incompetence as post-career hobbies.

Michael Jordan, who entered the league during Ronald Reagan's first Presidential term, has won the coveted role of NBA 2K11 cover boy, edging out Darko Milicic and Bob Cousy.

"We know we have the best NBA video game ever made here," 2K Sports V.P. of Marketing Jason Argent told CNBC. "So we thought to ourselves how can we embody that, and there was only one person on that list who we wanted to have and that was Michael Jordan."

2K Sports has just given Kobe Bryant an eating disorder.
