Countdown to Kimbo Slice vs. Matt Mitrione
At UFC 113, Kimbo Slice wants to serve himself up a hearty plate of Meathead, but he'll have to avoid Matt Mitrione's deadly swing before he gets a taste.
As a former NFL athlete, Mitrione isn't afraid to go up against the big guys in the cage. He packs heat behind his punches and he demonstrated that power on Marcus Jones and Scott Junk.
But Kimbo has got a warning for his former TUF 10 housemate, "If anyone had a really good chance of whoopin' me, they should've done it yesterday, or the day before."
It's no secret that Kimbo had some kinks to work out since his debut in the UFC, like his ground game for example. He beat Houston Alexander in sharp form, but there is still plenty of learning where that came from and that's exactly what he's been up to. Since his stint on The Ultimate Fighter he's been training at American Top Team in South Florida with top UFC fighters Thiago Alves and Thiago Silva.
Mitrione promises to choke out his opponent if he's taken to the ground, but has Kimbo tuned up his ground game? It's hard to imagine what we'll see when these two meet in the Octagon and UltimateFighter.com advises to expect the unexpected from Kimbo and Mitrione.
