From here until the end of the year you can pretty much guarantee that there are going to be hot games lighting up Top Shelf Tuesday every week. It's officially the holiday season, which means all the best games are going to be flooding stores. That's why this feature is here. This coming Tuesday Fallout: New Vegas is finally hitting stores. This role-playing/shooter hybrid is just about the best bang you're going to get for your buck this side of Call of Duty. As the follow-up to Fallout 3, expect to get well over 100 hours of play from your 60 bones as you infiltrate a post-apocalyptic Vegas. Zombie strippers, anyone? Finally packed away your plastic guitars and drum kit thinking the music genre is dead? DJ Hero 2 is one of the few games breaking new ground. Cut, scratch, transform, free form mix, and even have a friend sing or rap along. It's a blast and feels completely fresh with its solid state turntable peripheral. Even if you don't find yourself at the club on Saturday nights, it's a ton of fun to play and we highly recommend it.

Predators is a sci-fi action flick directed by Nimród Antal and stars Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, and Danny Trejo. This is the fourth feature film in the Predator franchise and easily one of the most successful. In it, Adrien Brody plays a mercenary leading a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet as prey for a gang of badass Predators. Both the DVD and Blu-ray include commentary by Robert Rodriguez and Nimród Antal, motion comics, and behind-the-scenes-features. The Blu-ray features additional behind-the-scenes footage as well as deleted and extended scenes. Die-hard fans of the series should be nothing but satisfied by this new reboot. Do it.

Come Around Sundown is the fifth studio LP by the highly successful southern rockers Kings of Leon. The lead single, "Radioactive," was released back in September and the response has been pretty darn solid. The new album features 13 new tracks all written and composed by the Franklin, Tennessee dudes themselves. The Deluxe Edition of Come Around Sundown features the unheard tracks "Celebration," "Radioactive (Choir Remix)," and "Closer (Presets Remix)."  We all know that the King’s sound has gotten poppier and poppier as time has gone on, but they truly do have a serious knack for putting together some of the catchiest rock tunes around. Scoop it, yo.
