GT's Top 10 First-Person Shooters

Oh, hell yes. Our radical homies over at GameTrailers fight through a long list of contenders and sort out their picks for the Top 10 First-Person Shooters of all time. This ain't an easy list to come up with, people. Take a gander after the jump.

First-person shooters are the best-selling genre. If you need proof, the new Call of Duty: Black Ops II sold 1 billion in sales in a week. The FPS used to be primarily for the PC, but now everyone plays them, and we mean EVERYONE. Shooters have also really skyrocketed in popularity due to online multiplayer.

Because there are so many shooters now we had to concentrate on innovation to get it down to the top 10. GT had a hot list of 20 games before they started chopping it down to 10. This one of the hardest lists GT has ever had to put together. See why below…

Speaking of first-person shooters, it's always nice to have eight-year-old kids kicking butt online and talk smack.
