The Daily Douchebag - Friday, November 13

November 13, 2009

Jon Gosselin, who now ranks below John Stamos and herpes on the American popularity scale, submitted the most ironic lawsuit since Lohan v. Sobriety earlier today when he launched a case against TLC for defaming his otherwise outstanding character.

The lawsuit, which we’re assured is in no way a joke, claims that the network has hurt his reputation by claiming that he broke their contract for Jon and Kate Plus 8 just before he began dating inappropriately young women, cheating on his wife, and neglecting his kids.

Gosselin is seeking the $175,000 he claims the show owes him, as well as $5 million in punitive damages “because of the enormous media interest ... and public interest it makes it impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily media intrusions that has impeded my life.”

Douche-tastic, Jon!

Try spilling some hot coffee on your lap, instead. There’s a precedent against McDonalds, but the American legal system has yet to establish a hard stance on horrible parents looking to get their picture in tabloid magazines. Trust us, Michael Lohan has tried.
