Emily Blunt and Matt Damon Pair Up for The Adjustment Bureau
Emily Blunt and Matt Damon are teaming up for a project based on a Philip K. Dick story, The Adjustment Bureau.
It's going to be a kind of sci-fi romance where Damon plays and up-and-coming Congressman and Blunt plays a ballet dancer, but the two are kept apart by unseen forces.
George Nolfi is going to direct the film at Universal. There have been a lot of Philip K. Dick adaptations, one of the best known being Blade Runner. If Bureau winds up being one tenth as awesome as Blade Runner then this will be a movie to look forward to.
As for the casting, it seems like Damon is playing it a bit safe, but we'll just have to wait and see. No start date has been announced, though the fact that it has been announced most likely means this thing's going to start shooting soon.
