Kanye Thinks Jay-Z is the New Sinatra

In a recent post on his blog, Kanye West is using an artistic photo of Rihanna as inspiration for yet another ridiculous rant.
In the post, Ye first goes off on the beauty of a recent photo taken by the paparazzi and why the paps should be as artistic and creative as the people they are shooting. This I can agree with:

YO WHY CAN'T ALL PAPARAZZI PHOTOS BE THIS GOOD? IT WOULD BE DOPE IF THE PAPS OPERATED WITH THE SAME INTEGRITY AND ATTENTION TO THEIR CRAFT AS THE LEGENDS THEY PHOTOGRAPH

The section of the piece that gets a little shaky is when West starts comparing new pop stars to iconic legends.

I LOOK AT OUR CURRENT SUPERSTARS LIKE LEGENDS IN THE MAKING... LIKE JUSTIN IS THE NEW MIKE , BEYONCE'S THE NEW TINA TURNER, GAGA'S MADONNA, JAY IS SINATRA... WAYNE IS HENDRIX, THOM YORKE IS ROGER WATERS

I can’t knock Kanye for trying to be positive in his post, but what’s the point in putting new artists alongside legends past? It’s only gonna piss people off. I can understand the Thom Yorke connection, but comparing Jay to Sinatra and Gaga to Madonna is just asking for trouble from longtime fans.
