Well, SPIKE was there first, people.
Back at Comic-Con 2012, we exclusively unveiled the cover of the
Dan Slott-penned landmark comic book "Amazing Spider-Man" #700. Due to the mind-blowing plot twists featured in the pages, fans are now up in arms about the content of the book as well as the future of Peter Parker and our favorite neighborhood Spider-Man.
SPOILER WARNING: Do not read this story if you don't want to know what happens in "Amazing Spider-Man" #700.
After Marvel revealed that Parker will indeed die and the role of Spider-Man will be taken over by Doctor Octopus, the recently-released "Amazing Spider-Man" #700 instantly marked the end of the most popular comic book and instantly ranked itself up there with one of the most notorious comic book releases ever.
Unfortunately for
Mr. Dan Slott, he is actually been
receiving death threats over the matter.
For those of you living under a rock this summer, the one and only SPIKE All Access team premiered #700 for the whole world to see. Nice to know we're right smack in the middle of this thing. See moment that started it all…
