Welcome to Pole Dancing High

A British school is in hot water for showing students how to pole dance. Last week over 1,000 teenage students aged 14–19 packed into the school’s gymnasium to watch 32-year-old Sam Remmer thrust, slide and spread her legs. The students captured her raunchy performance on camera phones and shared them online, causing outrage among teachers and parents.

The pole dancing “demonstration” was part of the school’s "Be Healthy Week." Remmer was invited to the school to exhibit an alternative way to exercise. The school’s vice principal said there was a “pole fitness demonstration but no pole dancing.” Remmer hopes her performance will educate people on the benefits of pole dancing as a fitness regime.
