Itty Bitty Boobs Are Out in Australian Porn

February 5, 2010

In a truly bizarre move, the Australian Government has banned small breasts and female ejaculation from adult films. Find out why after the jump.

Fiona Patten, the convener of Australia’s Sex Party, says the Australian Classification board has banned female ejaculation and the “depictions of small-breasted women in adult publications and films.” According to her, the ban on showing female ejaculation is because “some members on the Board did not believe the science around female orgasm.” That is, they believe science has proven that women have a g-spot and/or can “squirt.” Customs officers have been ordered to seize any material depicting the female ejaculation.

The ban on small boobs is an entirely different kettle of fish. Itty bitty titties are banned in response to concerns that images of flat-chested women promote pedophilia. It is now illegal in Australian to show images of a naked woman who looks underage, even if she is of legal age. Because of this, Patten says, “We are starting to see depictions of women in their late 20s being banned because they have an A cup size.” The consequence of this has been a “sharp increase in breast size in Australian adult magazines” and films.

Now big breasts in pornography certainly isn’t a bad thing, because let’s face it, the bigger the breasts the better. What stinks about this policy is it’s a form of censorship. If a woman is of legal age, she should be allowed to show off her naked body, no matter her cup size.
