Remember Jerry Seinfeld? Well, apparently he’s still alive and a pretty big New York Mets fan. Remember Lady Gaga? Also still alive, and a pretty big fan of Seinfeld’s box seats.
The pop music icon (shown above in some of John Goodman’s favorite clothing) recently attended a Mets game where she was met with a slew of paparazzi and unwanted attention.
In order to help curb the spectacle for both Lady Gaga and the fans, security escorted her (and a group of homeless people she refers to as her “entourage”) into an unused suite in the lower level. Unfortunately, the luxury box belonged to Seinfeld.
Rather than apologize for the misuse of his suite in person, the team elected to release a public statement via RadarOnline.
“We deeply regret that Jerry Seinfeld has been associated with this matter and have apologized to him."
By “this matter” did they mean Lady Gaga? If so, the New York Mets owe several other people an apology.
The former sitcom star has yet to comment on the situation or apologize for the series finale of Seinfeld.
