Spike TV's Ink Master Voting Rules
During the initial east coast airing of episode #16 ("Finale") of the Program (see local listings for dates/times), there will be a Twitter online voting element ("Twitter Vote") conducted in conjunction with the Program. To participate you must have an active Twitter account and your account must be set to "public." Data rates may apply to your Twitter Vote. Please consult your wireless service provider regarding their pricing plans. The voting period commences at the time that it is announced during the live East Coast broadcast of the Program (see local listings for dates/times), and ends at the time it is announced during the East Coast broadcast ("Voting Period"), as determined by Viacom Media Networks ("VMN"). Twitter Votes received prior to or after the Voting Period shall be considered void. VMN reserves the right to modify these rules without notice.
During the Voting Period, voter may cast his/her Twitter Vote for their favorite Finale contestant's (the "Contestant") live tattoo ("Live Tattoo"). In casting the Twitter Vote, voter should consider, but not be limited to, the following criteria: artistic merit of the Contestant's Live Tattoo on the Program website located on the Internet at http://www.inkmaster.spike.com. Voter may submit an unlimited number of Twitter Votes during the Voting Period. The Contestant with the highest number of Twitter Votes will automatically move their shop team into the final elimination round. The other shop team in the final elimination round and the Season 9 Ink Master will be determined by the Program Judges, or as otherwise determined by VMN.
During the Voting Period, voter may cast his/her Twitter Vote for their favorite Contestant's Live Tattoo, as follows:
- To cast your Twitter Vote for the Old Town Ink artist "tweet" #OldTownInk.
- To cast your Twitter Vote for Black Cobra "tweet" #BlackCobra.
- To cast your Twitter Vote for Basilica "tweet" #Basilica.
Neither VMN, Original Ink, LLC, Sullivan Compliance Company, nor their respective parents, divisions, subsidiaries and/or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies, sponsors, or any of and the directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees of each of them, are responsible for Twitter Votes that are illegible, incomplete, lost, delayed, mutilated and misdirected, any problems or technical malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to Voter's or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from voting. If for any reason the voting is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the VMN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the voting, VMN reserves the right at VMN's sole discretion to disqualify any Twitter Votes, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the voting in any manner. Should the voting be terminated or cancelled prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the Voting Website, and any Twitter Votes received prior to the termination or cancellation may at VMN's sole discretion be considered by VMN. Twitter Votes that have been tampered with or altered will be deemed void. The use of any system or agent to submit Twitter Votes in connection with the voting is prohibited and will result in disqualification of Twitter Votes. VMN reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they deem to be tampering with the voting process or the operation of the voting or any website associated therewith; to be acting in violation of the rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A VOTER OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE VOTING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, VMN AND THEIR DESIGNEES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH VOTER OR OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
All of VMN's decisions regarding the voting rules, process and system and the results derived from the voting shall be final and binding, and not subject to challenge or appeal.
